This policy explains what data we receive when you visit foxycode.tech or send us a request, why we need it, who we share it with and how you can control it.

1. Who we are

FoxyCode is a web development team based in Vinnytsia, Ukraine. We are responsible for the data you leave on this website. If you have any questions about it, email us at foxycode.tech@gmail.com.

2. What data we receive

  • Request details. The name and the phone number or email you enter in the form on the website.
  • Correspondence. If you write to us by email, on Telegram or in other messengers and social networks, we receive your message and the profile details that service shows.
  • Usage data. The pages you view, clicks and scrolling, your device and browser type, language, approximate location based on your IP address and the website you came from. This data is collected by Google Analytics and Hotjar.
  • Technical logs. Our hosting provider records IP addresses, request times and URLs to deliver pages and protect the website from attacks.

We do not collect payment details, documents or other sensitive data through the website, so please do not send them in the request form.

3. Why we need it

  • To reply to your request, discuss your project and prepare an offer or a contract.
  • To correspond with you about working together.
  • To understand how visitors use the website and improve it.
  • To keep the website stable and secure.

We process request details because you contacted us and accepted this policy. We do not sell personal data and do not send newsletters without your consent.

4. Who we share data with

Requests are seen only by FoxyCode team members who work with clients. To run the website, we use services that process data on our behalf:

  • Vercel - website hosting;
  • Neon - the database that stores requests (servers in the EU);
  • Telegram - requests arrive as messages in the team's work chats;
  • Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics - visit statistics;
  • Hotjar - analytics of how visitors use the pages.

These services may process data in different countries, including the USA, under their own privacy policies. We will also disclose data if the law requires it.

5. Cookies and browser storage

  • Google Analytics and Hotjar set their own cookies to tell visitors and sessions apart. These services load after your first interaction with the page or a few seconds after it opens.
  • The NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers the website language for a year.
  • While the tab is open, what you type in the form is kept in the browser's session storage so that it is not lost when you move between pages. We do not receive this data until you send the request, and the browser deletes it when you close the tab.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings or with a tracker blocker, and the website will still work. Google also offers a browser add-on that turns off Google Analytics.

6. How long we keep data

We keep requests and correspondence while we need them to communicate with you and fulfil our agreements, or until you ask us to delete them, unless the law requires us to keep them longer. Analytics data is kept for as long as the Google Analytics and Hotjar settings allow, and the hosting provider keeps technical logs for a limited time.

7. Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what data about you we hold;
  • correct inaccurate data;
  • delete your data;
  • restrict or stop processing it if you withdraw your consent.

Email us at foxycode.tech@gmail.com and include the contact you used in your request, and we will reply within 30 days. You can also contact the data protection authority in your country.

8. How we protect data

The website works only over a secure HTTPS connection. Only the team members who need requests and work chats for their job have access to them. However, no method of sending data over the internet is completely secure.

9. Children

The website is meant for businesses and is not intended for children under 16. If you believe a child has sent us their data, let us know and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the way the website works or the services we use change. The new version applies from the moment it is published on this page, and its date is shown at the top of the document.
